Our Story
Building financial literacy through event investment planning since 2019. What started as a simple idea has grown into a comprehensive educational platform serving the Canadian market.
Foundation & Early Vision
hyrelosquantiv began with a straightforward observation: many Canadians struggle with understanding how to plan investments around major life events. Marcus Thompson, our founder, noticed this gap while working with families in Trois-Rivières who needed guidance on financial planning for weddings, home purchases, and education expenses.
The initial concept was simple but powerful - create an educational platform that teaches people how to align their investment strategies with upcoming life events. Rather than generic financial advice, we wanted to provide context-specific learning that people could actually use.
Platform Development & Growth
By 2022, we had developed our core curriculum around event-based financial planning. This wasn't your typical investment course - we focused on practical scenarios like planning for a wedding in 18 months, saving for a home down payment, or preparing financially for starting a family.
The Canadian market responded well to our approach. People appreciated learning about RRSPs, TFSAs, and investment strategies in the context of their actual goals rather than abstract concepts. We expanded our team and began offering specialized workshops for different life stages and events.
Current Focus & Expansion
Today, hyrelosquantiv serves as a comprehensive resource for event investment planning across Canada. We've refined our educational approach based on feedback from over 2,000 students who have completed our programs. Our courses now cover everything from basic budgeting for major events to sophisticated investment timing strategies.
What sets us apart is our practical approach. Instead of teaching generic investment principles, we help people understand how to plan financially for real life events - whether that's a destination wedding, buying their first home, or planning for retirement. Each module includes Canadian-specific information about tax implications, investment vehicles, and regulatory considerations.
